Vallation x Spurlock Bristol Bay T-Shirt

Vallation Outerwear and artist Allison Spurlock have teamed up for a limited release of these sweatshirts and T-shirts. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Commercial Fishermen for Bristol Bay, a fantastic non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainability of the world’s largest sockeye salmon fishery. Their vision is a sustainable fishery in Bristol Bay that supports the ecological, social, and economic well-being of Bristol Bay’s communities and commercial fishing fleet for generations to come.

 

About the artist: Allison has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Sher grew up in Washington State and became involved in the fishing industry after moving to Ballard, WA. Within a year of moving, she had landed herself a fishing job in Sitka, AK. It quickly became her new home, and she has lived in Sitka ever since. Her art gradually became fishing-related as she immersed herself in the industry and culture. She was working at a local marine supply store and, in her free time, started selling buoys that she would put her artwork on. She is a mother and a talented artist who plans to stay within the fishing industry.
